How it Works
Keeping in touch is simple with SHOUT! Below we have provided some simply asked question topics to answer any questions you may have about your service.
- Activating Your Phone: Your phone will come active with a new mobile number in the package. After making your first call, your phone will be active for 90 days, or until you run out of minutes, whichever comes first.
- Replenishing Airtime: When you run out of minutes you may purchase any PIN you wish and add it at anytime. Each refill PIN will extends your current balance of minutes for 90 additional days.
- Account Balances: You may check your account minutes right on your handset, or by calling customer service at (866) 326-0050
- Card Expiration: All cards and pins are valid for 90 days once loaded and activated on your phone.
- Hotlined / Suspended Accounts: If a customer uses all of their SHOUT! minutes, the phone will be hotlined and temporary deactivated until a new refill PIN card is added to the account. Failure to add airtime within 15 days of being suspended may result in a loss of phone number.
- Deactivations / Mobile # Changes: Mobile # changes can only be done at the end of the billing cycle. If a phone is deactivated with minutes still left, the remaining minutes and cash balance will be lost. The cost to change a mobile number is $35
- Setting up your Voicemail: Press 1 or the button on your keypad that displays the icon of an "envelope" for at least 2 seconds. The system will prompt you to select a 4-10 digit password, then record your greeting. You can also set up your "1-touch" access to your voicemail without a password if you wish.
- Checking your Voicemail: You can listen to your voicemail by dialing your own mobile number or by holding the number 1 key or the button on your phone keypad which displays the "envelope" icon for a few seconds. Then follow the voicemail prompts of the automated system. To listen to your voicemail calling from another phone please call your mobile number and press the * (STAR) key to interrupt the greeting. Then after you press your password follow the automated instructions. Checking your voicemail from your wireless phone will deduct airtime, however checking from another phone will not deduct airtime.
- PINs: You may purchase monthly, overage cards, and International PINs via the link on our website by credit card. PINs are issued instantly if your credit card is approved. Please only press submit once to avoid duplicate orders. Once a PIN order has been placed, we cannot issue a refund. There are no refunds on PIN orders.
- Phone Warranty: New phones have a 90 day warranty from date of purchase. Refurbished phones have a 60 day warranty from the date of purchase.
- Terms of Use: We are not liable for acts or omissions of another service provider or any third party providers of service related to use of the device or service, For information provided through your device, lack of privacy or security experienced when using the device, equipment failure of modification or other causes beyond our reasonable control, Including without limitation any representations that the services will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free from unauthorized access. (Including third party hackers or denial of service attacks). We are not responsible for service outages or service limitations or interruptions, as described previously. Our liability and the liability of any underlying carrier for any failure or mistake shall in no event exceed our service charges during the affected period. We and any underlying carrier are not liable for any incidental punitive or consequential damages such as lost profits.
